Conservation Crescent Loop A loop from GI Waterfront Park around Stony Island returning via the hole-in-the-wall.

This is a loop from the Grosse Ile waterfront park, around Stony Island, next to the Livingstone channel, over to Celeron Island then head further west to the Gibraltar canals, north to the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge and then back to Grosse Ils and the Waterfront Park.
One must be cautious of boat traffic near the Livingstone channel including freighter traffic. The loop is best on cooler spring or fall days where there are fewer recreational boats on the water.

One can also cut through Stony Island when the vegetation is lower (spring and fall).
